During dry weather in its native habitat of the Chihuahuan Desert of the United States and Mexico – its stems curl into a tight ball, uncurling only when exposed to moisture. These are easy, low maintenance houseplants perfect to grow in a vase on the windowsill or in a terrarium! Simply soak the plant in water once a month and keep them in indirect, bright light.
