This listing is for a “False” Rose of Jericho, Selaginella lepidophylla. Known as a “resurrection plant”, S. lepidophylla is renowned for its ability to survive almost complete desiccation. During dry weather in its native habitat of the Chihuahuan Desert of the United States and Mexico – its stems curl into a tight ball, uncurling only when exposed to moisture. These are easy, low maintenance houseplants perfect to grow in a vase on the windowsill or in a terrarium! Simply soak the plant in water once a month and keep them in indirect, bright light. This plant is sure to be a conversation starter! You are purchasing a large plant that is about 6″ in diameter when unfurled.
